A multidisciplinary design office engaged in the complexities and multiplicities of contemporary life. Its research, strategy, and work focuses on transforming intangible ideas into spatial realities and physical form. Formed in January 2011 by partners Bang Dang and Rizwan Faruqui, who together bring over 30 years of experience in the design field. Their goal is to heighten the immaterial — ideas, hopes, and space — by way of the material: site, structure, and enclosure.
Founded in 1979, STRAND and its staff offer collective extensive experience in projects of diverse typologies and genres, delivering architectural, planning, design, interior design, structural engineering, and related services to clients from their Dallas, Texas office. Their client-centric focus, with a company foundation of service, ethics, and integrity, defines their commitment to excellence.
A Dallas–Ft. Worth based MBE, SBE, and HUB certified firm serving the north Texas region. What sets LAM apart is their multifaceted expertise in private and municipal design, municipal plan, zoning and plat review, as well as project management and third-party plan review. LAM was founded by David Lam, a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager with over 20 years of engineering background across federal, state, municipal, and land development work.
